Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Teach Sociology courses aligned with program goals using an applied, student-centered approach. - Develop and deliver engaging instructional content using innovative and technology-driven teaching methods. - Design and implement assessment tools including tests, assignments, projects, and presentations to evaluate student learning. - Provide individual academic assistance and resolve student-related concerns in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. - Guide students during internships and work placements, ensuring theory-to-practice correlation. - Maintain regular office hours for student consultation and academic support. - Monitor and document student progress, offering continuous feedback and improvement plans. - Ensure proper maintenance and availability of teaching resources, equipment, and supplies. - Participate in course and program reviews; suggest improvements based on feedback from students, peers, and industry partners. - Stay updated with recent trends and practices in Sociology and pedagogy through professional development activities. - Engage in university events, both academic and extracurricular, and contribute to institutional growth.
