and I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge Principal Analyst Specialist - SAP Security Lead OBJECTIVES PURPOSE As the Lead SAP Security you will be responsible for designing managing and optimizing data security safe guarding company data in today s fast-changing challenges and Enterprise Security needs You will also work with sap security consultant ensuring best practices and fostering development within the team You will work closely with our Platform Lead and across SAP modules with the various SAP teams to ensure integration across various areas Support the development and definition of the strategy for the product line capabilities by proactively identifying changes in business and the technology landscape that would impact the ERP portfolio and developments through the lifecycle SAP ECC SAP S 4 Hana SAP Cloud Platform Ensure integrated design build and deployment and operations of responsible product line Ensure that dependencies are understood managed and communicated Ensure business continuity through operational and service excellence of responsible product lines Work with internal teams and customer service to identify classify and prioritize feature-level customer issues Partner with leaders within the business and countries possess strong knowledge of both business and technology to drive SAP Security solutions to harmonization optimization and operational excellence of the ERP Support Services ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop and implement SAP security policies standards and best practices Manage SAP user accounts roles and authorizations to ensure appropriate access control Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities Collaborate with IT and business teams to maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX and GDPR Implement and leverage SAP GRC solutions for effective governance and compliance management Monitor SAP systems for security incidents and lead incident response efforts Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful security audits Stay updated on SAP security patches and apply them as necessary Provide training and support to staff on SAP security protocols and practices Prepare regular security reports for management review Conduct system testing integration testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the implemented solutions verifying configuration settings Lead resolution of complex problems with a global impact on the business and identify opportunities to streamline business and or layered system processes and ensure delivered work meets technical functional performance and business requirements as well as best practices Actively engage with the release and engagement teams major programs ensuring active adoption and deployment of product line capabilities Support active engagements and continuous improvement as required Ensure alignment with Business Process Owners and IT Platform Partners to drive engagement prioritization and deployment support across the respective areas Train junior consultants and actively hand over knowledge to other team members CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE User and Role Management Understanding SAP s user and role architecture including creating and managing users roles and authorizations Authorization Concepts Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and profiles including transaction codes and authorization objects Compliance and Audit Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOX GDPR and how to prepare for and conduct audits Security Policies and Best Practices Developing and implementing security policies along with following best practices for SAP security Risk Management Identifying potential security risks and implementing mitigation strategies System Monitoring and Management Utilizing tools for monitoring system performance and detecting unauthorized access Knowledge of SAP GRC Experience with SAP Governance Risk and Compliance GRC solutions for managing regulatory compliance and policies Incident Response Ability to respond to security incidents effectively including investigation and resolution techniques Collaboration Skills Working with various teams such as IT audit and business units to ensure security compliance and address security issues Continuous Learning Staying updated with the latest SAP security updates patches and industry trends Technical Functional Line Expertise Major expertise Experience in SAP Security Some expertise experience in overall SAP module security layers Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a bonus Experience with leading teams Leadership Ability to lead train motivate and develop assigned functional team Clear reporting and communication back to company leadership and collaboration teams Identification of the risks proposal of mitigation activities and focus on resolution Innovation vision and ability to define a team strategy for future engagements Decision-making and Autonomy Experience in defining opportunities problems challenges and derive action or mitigation plans Experience in assessing complex situations state problems and drive the generation of solutions Good understanding of how to evaluate costs and benefits or pros and cons of IT Services Experience in driving the selection of the best possible solution Interaction Attitude for active collaboration with business and IT stakeholders on any organizational level Skills to motivate team members to deliver the best for the company Innovation Good experience in design thinking to derive innovation opportunities Experience in cutting edge technologies and the innovation they deliver Complexity Track record in product management ideally in a SAP ECC and S 4 Hana Experience in a multi-cultural and large enterprise Must have skills and experience Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Commerce or equivalent Previous working experience as consultant from other big global IT companies Working experience from major consulting companies focusing on implementation of SAP ECC SAP S 4 HANA Historic track at least from 2 full SAP Life-cycle Implementations ECC S 4 HANA Minimum of 8-10 years of practical consulting experience in SAP Security with focus on SAP roles and user administrations Minimum of 3-4 years of practical consulting experience in System Administration Configuration management landscapes Role Administration Portal Understanding of EDI based communication interfaces Database Management Maintaining the database data archiving and transport management Monitoring and Performance Tuning Continuously monitoring the system and tuning for optimal performance SAP Fiori A fundamental understanding of SAP Fiori and its integration with S 4HANA Practical experience with direct procurement related migration objects or building migration strategy as such Good understanding of technical architecture and integration between ECC S 4 HANA and Hana DB Ability to govern the solution deploy the solution and train the others in your functional stream Ability to overall SAP Security support operations Ability to work in different time zones for certain period of time if required Fluent in English and good communication skills Nice to have skills and experience Certification in SAP Security or related areas Experience with SAP ECC S 4 Hana security modules SAP Hana Database Administration Proven track record in managing security for large and complex SAP environments SAP Fiori and SAP Portal knowledge is advantages Experience with SDLC methodology including tasks like develop test cases execute test plans log defects develop
