Summary A Scrub Nurse in a CTVS Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery operating room OT plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and success of surgeries Their responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment assisting the surgical team with instruments and supplies and providing patient care before during and after the procedure Prepare and set up the operating room with sterile instruments equipment and supplies required for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries Ensure that all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use adhering to infection control protocols Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure providing necessary instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and assist with handling instruments sutures and other materials as required Assist in patient positioning and preparation ensuring the patient s safety and comfort during the procedure Monitor patient vital signs and support the administration of anesthesia and medications in collaboration with the anesthesiologist Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families before and after the surgery Follow strict infection control practices to maintain a sterile environment and prevent contamination Manage the disposal of contaminated materials and ensure adherence to safety procedures NOTE Should have experience in cardiac OT Scrub Nurse for patient care Ensure adherence to scrubbing aseptic techniques for cardio thoracic and vascular surgery Prepare and maintain sterile field in the operating room Assist the surgical team by anticipating their needs during procedures Efficiently manage surgical equipment instruments and supplies Category Nursing Qualification Appropriate qualification and statutory nursing registration in the state - GNM BSC MSC Skills Strong knowledge of sterile techniques surgical procedures and patient care is essential Additional Requirements These certifications will give additional preference - certification in advanced cardiac life support ACLS or specialized certifications in CVOR Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Ability to commute relocate Guntur Andhra Pradesh Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience scrub nurse in a CTVS OT 2 years Required Work Location In person Application Deadline 20 07 2025 Expected Start Date 25 06 2025
