Role Description This role is responsible for leading and managing the design coordination process across all disciplines of aproject. The Design Coordination Head will ensure seamless communication and alignment betweenstakeholders, consultants, and internal teams. The position requires a seasoned professional with provenexpertise in Architecture, Interiors, Structural, MEPF, ELV, and BIM, capable of identifying potential design-related delays and driving strategic solutions for smooth project completion. lLead and oversee multidisciplinary design coordination (Architecture, Interiors, Structural, MEPF,ELV, BIM) across multiple projects. lAct as the single point of contact for all design-related queries, ensuring clarity and alignment amongconsultants, project teams, and management. lProvide strategic inputs based on experience to avoid conflicts, design discrepancies, and executiondelays. lReview and monitor design deliverables against project schedules, flagging deviations andrecommending corrective actions. lConduct regular design coordination meetings and workshops with consultants, contractors, andinternal teams to review progress, highlight risks, and drive timely decision-making. lEnsure all design drawings and documents (DBR, Tender Drawings, BOQs, Specifications) arethoroughly reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements. lProactively identify clashes between Architectural, Structural, and MEPF/ELV services throughcoordinated drawing reviews and BIM models. lDrive value engineering initiatives by suggesting cost-effective and execution-friendly alternativeswithout compromising quality. lEnsure that all material approvals are coordinated in advance with the design team/consultants to avoidprocurement delays. lGenerate and review RFIs (Requests for Information) with consultants to ensure clear, conflict-freedesigns for execution. lEnsure contractors execute strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, and coordinated plans. lSupport project heads and management with periodic reports, MIS updates, and strategicrecommendations for timely and cost-effective project delivery. lFacilitate project closeout by ensuring complete handover of coordinated drawings and documentation. Qualifications: lB.Arch / B.E. Civil or equivalent qualification. Postgraduate in Project Management preferred. lProven expertise in managing multidisciplinary design teams and consultants. lStrong understanding of BIM workflows and its role in design coordination. lExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. lStrategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. lStrong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
