HPC Technical Analyst you will ensure high-performance computing systems run smoothly and efficiently primarily in AWS You will be responsible to ensure business continuity by monitoring HPC systems health and performing routine maintenance Serve as the primary contact for global research center scientists handling information requests configurations and break fixes Track requests in ServiceNow Jira open vendor support tickets and ensure resolution Maintain inventory and address compliance issues with both security and cloud spend Ultimately you will make sure the HPC systems are at the cutting edge and meet the needs of researchers while maintaining worldclass UX We are looking for an individual with passion for HPC and motivated to provide worldclass HPC experience to enable research scientist to use the power of leading-edge science to save and improve lives around the worldWhat will you do in this role Monitor and manage both infrastructure and software components ensuring they are functioning optimally Act as the go-to expert for resolving system issues and assisting users Ensure seamless integration of HPC systems with the broader IT ecosystem Regularly update and patch systems and application software to ensure security and efficiency Assist users with access job submissions fix any issues they face and ensure they can make the most out of HPC resources Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations updates and standard operating procedures Keep up to date with the latest advancements in HPC technologies and industry best practices Work within a matrix organizational structure reporting to your functional manager senior managers and Hyderabad based Director as well as collaborating with other teams Participate in project planning execution and delivery ensuring alignment with both functional and project goals What should you have Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or any Technology stream 3 years of hands-on experience in Linux operating systems shell scripting and HPC architecture Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and methodologies Cloud experience ideally in AWS Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret complex data Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings and recommendations Strong problem-solving skills Proactive approach to identify and address potential risks Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate assessments and reporting Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards Ability to manage risk-related projects and coordinate with various teams Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively Our technology teams operate as business partners proposing
