Role Description
The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for identifying unemployed youth within the community, motivating them to enroll in free skill development and placement-linked training programs, and supporting them in securing sustainable employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field visits, community meetings, and awareness campaigns to identify unemployed youth.
Mobilize and motivate youth to participate in free placement-linked training programs.
Build strong networks with local communities, youth groups, panchayats, and NGOs for effective outreach.
Counsel candidates on available courses, career opportunities, and the benefits of training.
Maintain candidate data, enrollment forms, and regular follow-up until placement.
Coordinate with the training center team to ensure smooth admission and participation of mobilized youth.
Support in organizing job fairs, career counseling sessions, and placement drives.
Report daily/weekly mobilization activities to the project coordinator/manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum: 10+2 / Graduate in any discipline (Social Work / Rural Development preferred).
Prior experience in community mobilization, counseling, or NGO/development sector will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with youth from diverse backgrounds.
Comfortable with field work and travel within assigned areas.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry).
