Responsibilities - Oversee the medical coding processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance healthcare product offerings. - Implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle management and improve financial outcomes. - Analyze coding data to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Provide guidance and support to junior coding staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Develop and maintain documentation for coding procedures and policies. - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Conduct regular audits to maintain coding accuracy and compliance. - Utilize healthcare product knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address coding-related issues and solutions. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance coding processes. - Monitor industry developments to keep the team informed of changes and updates. - Support the development of training materials and programs for coding staff. Qualifications - Possess strong expertise in healthcare products and their applications. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of revenue cycle management processes. - Exhibit proficiency in medical coding standards and practices. - Have a proven track record of optimizing coding operations. - Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. - Display excellent communication and analytical skills. - Hold relevant certifications in medical coding and revenue cycle management. Certifications Required Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
