Business Function As the leading bank in Asia DBS Consumer Banking Group is in a unique position to help our customers realise their dreams and ambitions As a market leader in the consumer banking business DBS has a full spectrum of products and services including deposits investments insurance mortgages credit cards and personal loans to help our customers realise their dreams and aspirations at every life stage Our financial solutions are not only the best in the business - they were made just right for you Job Purpose To be responsible for the overall management of the Bank s business operations in the cluster including branch level in accordance specified guidelines so as to ensure best of class client experience within acceptable level of risks To be the P L owner for assets and liabilities in the respective cluster Key Accountabilities Responsibility for Cluster P L Serve as a pivotal member of the leadership team in formulating Bank goals strategy short term and long term and translation of the same to business plan at a cluster and branch level Develop and implement strategies and plans consistent with established goals in each product line and service in the cluster ensure achievement of branch and cluster level Business Targets Collaborate with Product Teams Operations Teams Regional delivery teams branches in developing operational plans for the cluster based on the overall targets and budgets for the region Regularly conducts detailed reviews of the Bank s operations and takes appropriate decisions for reallocating resources and re-deciding priorities Recommend plan for setting up of new branches and ATMs in the region as per requirements Job Duties responsibilities Drive implementation of marketing promotions and campaigns across all product propositions in the respective cluster Manage deployment of manpower across the branches in the respective cluster Ensure efficient operations in the cluster by establishing and monitoring adherence to operational policies and procedures Develop and ensure implementation of changes in policies and procedures to improve productivity and service levels Ensure adherence to turnaround time in all banking processes in the cluster such as account opening grievance handling etc Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members Required Experience 12- 14 Years in Banking NBFC Education Preferred Qualifications Graduate MBA Core Competencies Stakeholder Management skills Business focus with a sales acumen Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build strong relationships with clients Ability to meet deadlines Knowledge about internal external regulations Work Relationship Leadership traits Effective communication between self and superior Inter-personal skills team player Display of RED Attitude Reliable Easy to deal with Dependable DBS India - Culture Behaviors Performance through Value Based Propositions Ensure customer focus by delighting customers reduce complaints Build pride and passion to protect maintain and enhance DBS image and reputation Enhance knowledge base build skill sets develop competencies Execute at speed while maintaining error free operations Maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity
