The DGM - Liasoning is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all regulatory compliance government affairs and external communications for the organization in Karnataka This role requires a seasoned expert to build and maintain strategic relationships with statutory bodies and ensure seamless operations through timely approvals and comprehensive legal compliance Develop and implement a comprehensive Liaisoning strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory needs Serve as the senior point of contact for all government and statutory authorities Oversee the acquisition and timely renewal of all statutory clearances CTE CTO fire NOCs hazardous waste Ensure zero non-compliance through timely internal audits and preparation for external inspections Build and maintain strong relationships with local government municipal bodies and community leaders Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate regulatory documentation Monitor changes in relevant laws assess impact on operations and advise senior management Lead initiatives to engage with local communities and address grievances promoting CSR and goodwill Lead the entire liaisoning function for a major Indian carbon company High-impact role ensuring strategic regulatory compliance in Bangalore 12-15 years of experience in PR communications or a related field 3 years in a leadership role Mandatory experience working with a minimum of three of the following departments Fire Department Labour Department Factory Inspector Pollution Control Board KUM Karnataka Udyog Mitra Bachelor s degree in Law Public Administration Environmental Science Communications or a related field Proven expertise in regulatory knowledge negotiation skills and stakeholder management Strong ability to develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns Located in or willing to relocate to Bangalore Head of Department role Our client is a leading fully integrated carbon black and specialty carbon company in India They operate large-scale facilities across multiple states including Karnataka and are pioneering the advanced battery materials industry for the global lithium-ion market They are committed to driving innovation in sustainable development and are looking for a key leader for their corporate function A DGM-level leadership role leading the entire Liaisoning function in the Bangalore office The opportunity to be the senior-most point of contact for regulatory bodies in the region High-impact role critical to the strategic operations of a major integrated carbon company A chance to work with a group pioneering advanced battery materials and sustainable development Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with a DGM-level designation
