Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Manager to join our Legal Operations team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, business analytics,

automation, and advanced Python programming. This role involves building scalable data

pipelines, creating dashboards, automating processes, and leveraging LLMs and BI tools to drive

business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for processing large volumes of

structured and unstructured data.

Lead data manipulation, cleaning, transformation, and normalization processes to ensure

high-quality datasets for deliverable, analytics and decision-making.

Design, deploy and automate manual and repetitive data operations using Python and

SQL scripting and tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, AI platforms etc.

Develop and execute Python scripts for automated and programmatic data extraction

from PDF, Excel, CSV, TXT, and XML files and various other formats as well as APIs

and other heterogeneous data sources.

Create and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI to

support business decision-making.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Engineers, and

Business Teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

Lead initiatives around data integrity, intelligent automation, and AI-driven data

processing.

Oversee and manage multiple BI and data projects simultaneously, ensuring timely

delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Analytics, or related fields.

6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data management, or business analytics.

Expert in Python programming with hands-on experience in libraries like Pandas, NumPy, BeautifulSoup, Requests, PyPDF, OpenPyXL, etc.

Strong experience in data cleaning, ETL processes, and working with large datasets.

Familiar with database systems (SQL/NoSQL), data modelling, and API integration.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, or similar automation platforms.

Practical understanding of LLMs (like GPT-4, Claude, or local models) for automation and data processing tasks.

Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) for data storage, processing, and automation.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and lead junior data team members if needed.

Excellent analytical, creative problem-solving, and communication skills.
