Bengaluru, India Zeno Full time

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Program Manager to join our fast-moving automotive technology team. Location: Bengaluru – Work from Office (5 days a week) Start Date: Immediate About Zeno An unprecedented energy transition has begun. To meet 2040 net zero goals, over 2 billion electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently responsible for more than 4% of the world’s GHG emissions. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition and democratize the benefits across Africa, India, and Latin America. With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers. The Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Program Manager to join our fast-moving automotive technology team. This role is ideal for someone early in their program management journey who wants to work closely with software engineers, cross-functional teams, and technical leads to ensure projects are on track, well-documented, and moving forward. You’ll act as the connective tissue between the software team and other stakeholders like validation, charging infrastructure, systems integration, and product. If you’re passionate about working at the intersection of technology, organization, and people, and enjoy bringing clarity to chaos, this is the role for you. What You’ll Do: ● Own and maintain project tracking systems for embedded and application software deliverables. ● Regularly update and communicate status, risks, and timelines across stakeholders. ● Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure sprint goals and milestones are defined and met. ● Track cross-functional dependencies (validation, charging systems, hardware integration, etc.) and follow up to close gaps. ● Help organize and maintain project documentation, specs, release notes, and trackers. ● Proactively identify where work is falling through the cracks – and jump in to fix it. ● Be flexible and hands-on; not everything will be defined – you’ll help create process where needed. What We’re Looking For: ● 3–5 years of technical experience, ideally in software development, QA, hardware-software integration, or technical project management. ● Strong organizational and communication skills – able to create clarity and alignment without needing authority. ● Experience working with software teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Excel, etc.). ● Understanding of embedded systems, automotive ECUs, validation cycles, or system integration is a plus. ● Strong attention to detail and willingness to keep programs on track. ● High adaptability – comfortable working in ambiguous or fast-changing environments. ● Eagerness to learn, grow, and make an impact in an early-stage team. Nice to Have: - Exposure to automotive software standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262) - Experience working with charging systems, battery systems, or vehicle platforms. - Background in engineering (software, electrical, systems) or a technical degree. Benefits - Competitive salary based on experience. - Company-sponsored healthcare plan. - Opportunity to build core technology at the heart of the EV revolution. - Join a global team of engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs driving the trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric.
