Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collection of payments. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring the financial stability of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner. - Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts. - Handle customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues. - Record and reconcile payments received against outstanding invoices. - Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable. - Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer account accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Requirements - Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
