Job Description Company Description Stand For Forests Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit based in Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu, committed to climate action, biodiversity conservation and sustainable living. The organization focuses on restoring ecosystems, empowering communities and fostering environmental awareness through education, research and grassroots initiatives. Key areas of work include forest restoration, carbon sink development, community support and climate education. Stand For Forests also promotes youth and volunteer engagement and collaborates with institutions on research-based conservation strategies. The foundation is aligned with India's vision of achieving 33% tree cover and creating climate-resilient rural landscapes. Role Description This is a remote and unpaid internship for one month. Interns will support our climate action and conservation initiatives through outreach, communication and coordination. You will: - Assist in fundraising related tasks - Help in writing reports and documentation - Create content for social media and awareness campaigns - Manage Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages - Contact schools and colleges for collaborations and volunteer engagement - Monitor the activities of similar NGOs for partnership opportunities - Identify collaborations to increase visibility and outreach - Collaborate weekly with Coimbatore based NGOs for field or awareness activities - Prepare short outreach reports and progress updates Who You Are - Someone who values nature and believes in environmental responsibility - Passionate about climate action, conservation and community empowerment - Strong in research, analysis and data interpretation - Able to prepare clear reports, presentations and written communication - Skilled in creating meaningful content for social media - Organized, proactive and comfortable taking initiative - Experienced or interested in community outreach, event coordination or volunteer engagement - A good communicator who can work with diverse groups - Team oriented with strong organizational skills - Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office for documentation What We Expect - Genuine interest in sustainability and conservation - Commitment to complete assigned tasks responsibly - Regular communication with the core team - Active participation in outreach and partnership activities - Consistent involvement in social media and content work - Weekly collaboration with local NGOs - Willingness to learn and accept feedback - Professional and respectful conduct in all interactions Eligibility - Must be based in Coimbatore - Students from M.Sc. Social Work, B.Sc.
