What You’ll Work On: - Architect and build scalable backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript - Design and implement RAG pipelines, vector database integrations, and prompt-driven APIs - Extract, compare, and generate insights from unstructured insurance documents (PDFs, contracts, tables) - Build AI-powered microservices that drive real-time UI experiences - Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and AI teams to deliver features end- to-end - Mentor junior developers and lead by example on code quality and architectural decisions You’d Be a Great Fit If You: - Write clean, modular Node.js code and design for scalability and reusability - Have worked with LLMs (OpenAI or open-source) - Understand prompt engineering, chunking strategies, RAG logic, and context optimization - Are comfortable with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs - Think product-first and enjoy working in fast-moving, high-ownership environments Bonus Points For: - Experience with LangChain.js, LLM orchestration frameworks, or prompt- based workflows - Previous exposure to insurance, fintech, or document-heavy products - Hands-on with AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed microservices - Interest in event-driven architecture using WebSockets, SSE, or message queues
