Designation: Business Development ExecutiveProcess : GPay  Working Location: All over Chennai / Thiruvallur / Kanchipuram / Arakkonam / SolingarWorking Time: Full time / Part time Salary : Minimum 15000 to 35000Job Summary: We are hiring Business Development Executives to promote and onboard merchants for GPay (Google Pay) or other UPI-based digital payment solutions. The role involves visiting local shops, retailers, vendors, and service providers to explain the benefits of accepting digital payments and assist them in registering and activating their GPay merchant accounts. This is a field-intensive role suitable for dynamic, target-driven individuals with good communication skills and a basic understanding of smartphones and mobile applications.Key Responsibilities:1. Merchant Onboarding & Registration: Visit local markets and onboard kirana shops, medical stores, food stalls, salons, cafes, etc. for GPay or UPI services. Collect and verify necessary documents from merchants (e.g., PAN, Aadhaar, bank details). Assist in KYC submission, app installation, QR code activation, and merchant training. 2. Sales Pitch & Relationship Building: Explain the benefits of UPI/digital payments (zero MDR, instant settlement, offers, etc.). Convince merchants to use and promote GPay for daily transactions. Build long-term relationships with merchants and resolve their initial usage concerns. 3. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily records of merchant visits, onboarded merchants, and active users. Submit real-time updates via mobile app or CRM as per company guidelines. Track merchant activity and follow up with inactive users to ensure usage.Skills Required: Good verbal communication in Hindi, English, or local language. Basic knowledge of mobile apps and digital payment systems (UPI, QR codes, etc.). Self-motivated, persuasive, and target-oriented. Must own a smartphone and preferably a two-wheeler. Familiarity with local markets and routes is an advantage.
