Company Description Visa is a world leader in payments and technology with over 259 billion payments transactions flowing safely between consumers merchants financial institutions and government entities in more than 200 countries and territories each year Our mission is to connect the world through the most innovative convenient reliable and secure payments network enabling individuals businesses and economies to thrive while driven by a common purpose - to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid Make an impact with a purpose-driven industry leader Join us today and experience Life at Visa Visa operates the world s largest retail electronic payments network and is one of the most recognized global financial services brands Visa facilitates global commerce through the transfer of value and information among financial institutions merchants consumers businesses and government entities We offer a range of branded payment product platforms which our financial institution clients use to develop and offer credit charge deferred debit prepaid and cash access programs to cardholders Visa s card platforms provide consumers businesses merchants and government entities with a secure convenient and reliable way to pay and be paid in 200 countries and territories We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Development Specialist to join our team The primary objective of this role is to enhance our security remediation process shift security to the left in the development cycle and improve our overall security posture The successful candidate will be responsible for creating scalable and automated solutions for vulnerability management and remediation across various security findings including Qualys TSR and container vulnerabilities Key Responsibilities Automation Development Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline the security remediation process Design and build scalable automation frameworks using Java Python and other relevant frontend frameworks Create automated workflows for vulnerability detection assessment and remediation Collaborate with development teams to embed security practices and tools into CI CD pipelines Vulnerability Management Ensure comprehensive coverage for all types of vulnerabilities including container security and TSR findings Container Security Build and maintain automated solutions for container vulnerability scanning and remediation Collaboration and Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams including development operations and security to ensure cohesive and effective security practices Communicate security risks and remediation plans to stakeholders at various levels of the organization Provide regular updates and reports on security posture and remediation progress This is a hybrid position Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager Qualifications Basic Qualifications Associate Minimum of 6 months of work experience with a Bachelor s Degree Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field Relevant working experience of up to 2 years in the industry Proven experience in software development particularly in full stack projects demonstrating adherence to standard development best practices Strong understanding of Security and Vulnerability Management Strong understanding and practical experience with data structures and algorithms with a passion for tackling complex problems Proficiency in Java and Python programming Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React Experience with SQL RDBMS and In-Memory Databases like Redis Familiarity with SpringBoot and Spring Framework Strong knowledge of API development Familiarity with version control systems specifically Git Strong knowledge of Unix Linux operating systems and Shell Scripting Awareness of and experience with software design patterns Experience working within an Agile framework Familiarity with AI concepts and tools including GitHub Copilot for code development Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability or protected veteran status Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law
