Job Title Manual Tester for Mobile and Web Application Testing A Manual Tester is responsible for thoroughly evaluating mobile and web applications to identify defects inconsistencies and performance issues They work closely with development teams to ensure that the software meets quality standards and is ready for release Key Responsibilities Test Planning Collaborate with stakeholders to define test objectives test cases and test plans for mobile and web applications Test Execution Execute manual test cases to identify defects verify functionality and validate user interfaces on various devices and browsers Bug Reporting Document and report defects issues and anomalies in a clear and structured manner including steps to reproduce the problems and their severity Regression Testing Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not introduce new defects and do not impact existing functionality Compatibility Testing Test applications on different operating systems browsers and mobile devices to ensure cross-platform compatibility Usability Testing Assess the user-friendliness of the application and identify any usability issues Performance Testing Evaluate the performance and responsiveness of web and mobile applications identifying bottlenecks or slowdowns Documentation Maintain detailed test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports Communication Collaborate with developers product managers and other team members to communicate test results progress and any blockers Continuous Improvement Stay updated with industry trends best practices and testing tools to enhance the testing process Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices Familiarity with test case design and test execution Proficiency in using test management tools e g Jira TestRail Understanding of different mobile platforms iOS Android and web browsers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to follow test scripts precisely Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with the team Basic understanding of programming languages and scripting is a plus Knowledge of automation testing tools e g Selenium Appium is a bonus Relevant certifications e g ISTQB can be an advantage Education A bachelor s degree in computer science information technology or a related field is typically preferred but not always required especially if the candidate has relevant experience and skills Experience 2-5 years of experience About us Consectus is a Fintech company created with the prime objective of enabling cost effective mobile and online solutions for the Banking Financial Services Industry Website www consectus com Industry Software Development Company size 11-50 employees Job Type Full-time Pay From 30 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Ability to commute relocate Thane Maharashtra Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience total work 2 years Preferred Software testing 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
