Job description Name of the Position Heavy Driver Qualification SSLC to Plus Two Age Below 45 Salary Best in Industry Candidates preferred from Ernakulam District DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate heavy hospital vehicles including ambulances Transport medical equipment oxygen cylinders pharmaceuticals and other hospital supplies Ensure the timely transfer of patients between facilities when required Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the transport supervisor immediately Ensure proper sanitization and cleanliness of vehicles particularly patient transport units Adhere to hospital and government transportation regulations and safety protocols Assist in emergency medical transport situations ensuring safe and fast patient transfers Follow instructions from medical personnel during patient transportation Be available for on-call duties when emergency transport is required Maintain accurate logs of trips fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance records Follow hospital protocols for logging patient transport details when necessary Ensure all required documentation such as licenses and permits is up to date Treat patients hospital staff and visitors with respect and professionalism Assist patients and staff with loading and unloading medical equipment and other necessary items Follow hospital policies regarding patient confidentiality and safety Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
