Job Details Bluetooth System Validation Engineer - Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop apply and maintain quality standards for company products Develops modifies and executes software test plans Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages systems and computation software Qualifications Qualifications 1 Engineering degree in Electronics Computer Science Electrical from a reputed college 2 8 years of work experience in a related field Hands-on experience in Bluetooth Profile Stack verification along with PTS 3 Domain expert in Bluetooth LE core HCI and below layers 4 Experience with test automation and scripting Python Shell or similar 5 Knowledge of networking concepts TCP IP DNS DHCP etc 6 Familiarity with different operating systems Linux Windows macOS 7 Experience with network protocol analyzers e g Ellisys Wireshark 8 Exposure in WLAN Coex OEM IOP tests with Bluetooth Key Responsibilities 1 Executes Bluetooth validation and testing on hardware and software products including routers access points and client devices 2 Execute various Bluetooth performance and stress tests Identify reproduce and report software and hardware issues related to Bluetooth performance 3 Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for validating Bluetooth functionality and interoperability 4 Collaborate with cross-functional teams hardware firmware software to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues 5 Analyze and interpret test results creating detailed bug reports and documentation 6 Assist in the development of automated test scripts and tools to improve test efficiency 7 Stay up-to-date with the latest Bluetooth standards and incorporate them into testing processes 8 Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and identify issues in complex systems Soft skills 1 Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team 2 Good written and verbal communication skills 3 Quick learning of new technologies 4 Stakeholder management Job Type Experienced Hire Shift Shift 1 India Primary Location Virtual India Additional Locations Business group The Client Computing Group CCG is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intel s PC products and platforms spanning form factors such as notebooks desktops 2 in 1s all in ones Working with our partners across the industry we intend to deliver purposeful computing experiences that unlock people s potential - allowing each person use our products to focus create and connect in ways that matter most to them Posting Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion religious creed sex national origin ancestry age physical or mental disability medical condition genetic information military and veteran status marital status pregnancy gender gender expression gender identity sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by local law regulation or ordinance Position of Trust N A Work Model for this Role This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need However you must live and work from the country specified in the job posting in which Intel has a legal presence Due to legal regulations remote work from any other country is unfortunately not permitted Job posting details such as work model location or time type are subject to change
