Project Coordinator

Seeking a dynamic individual to join as a Project Coordinator to anchor the on-ground implementation of certain projects within the designated states This may include providing technical support and capacity building to Farmer Producer Companies FPCs and farmers focusing on seed multiplication grain production aggregation and market linkage development The Coordinator will facilitate the development of training modules and build the capacities of FPCs and farmers across various geographies Additionally the Coordinator will oversee seed and grain production initiatives either directly or through partners ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate the development of training modules and provide technical support to FPCs and farmers for seed multiplication grain production and aggregation Facilitate the implement of seed and grain production value chains coordinating activities across designated geographies Facilitate the development of strategies processes and Standard Operating Procedures SOPs for grain aggregation and segregation Assist in identifying and facilitating partnerships with public and private sector partners to support seed and grain production as well as facilitate linkages with private and institutional partners for consumption Assist in collecting data prepare progress reports and conduct analysis to showcase project outcomes and achievements Track day-to-day activities and ensure appropriate field monitoring to maintain project timelines and objectives Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders including government agencies NGOs and community members to facilitate project coordination and implementation Collaborate with the designated team to support the planning and execution of events programs and trainings Engage with on-ground staff of various value chain actors to provide guidance and support in project implementation Directly communicate with farmer organizations and clusters to gather feedback address concerns and ensure their active participation in project activities Assist in conducting farmer field monitoring and update the Crop Calendar and Data sheets to track agricultural activities and progress Ensure logistical arrangements for seed and grain movement including transportation and storage to facilitate timely delivery and distribution Assist in conducting on-ground price discovery and price-based data collection for seeds and grains of Integrated Pest Management IPM and Zinc Wheat ZW varieties Facilitate the coordination of travel logistics and other administrative functions for smooth functioning of operations and program implementation REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Graduate with 1-2 years of professional experience of working with civil society government and private sector partners Proficiency in computer skills like Microsoft office and data collection tools Proven capacity to work with stakeholders across the value chain Prior experience of working in the agriculture sector at the grassroot level Flexible with a willingness and ability to travel in challenging environments High level of professionalism and integrity Fluency in the local regional language in the area of deployment Rapport with farming communities Strong communication skills in multi-cultural multi-lingual environments Job Types Full-time Part-time Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Commuter assistance Flexible schedule Paid sick time Work from home Schedule Day shift Experience ngo 1 year Required Language English Preferred Work Location In person
