We are looking to hire a hands-on Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to join our diverse, talented, high performance, and innovative team, focused on driving Infrastructure and Application Migrations via the Cloud Acceleration Factory. The Cloud Acceleration Factory is best suited for individuals that are highly technical, solution focused and have a passion for Project Management. The Cloud Acceleration Factory provides opportunity to drive feedback into Microsoft's core product teams to help improve our platform. CSAs are senior individual contributors who operate globally and engage directly with customers. It is a hands-on technical and governance role spanning across design, build, and production. Candidates are expected to comfortably switch from a whiteboard to the keyboard. This is a truly exciting role that will feature unique and challenging technical problems to solve and to help our customers succeed. Responsibilities A Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) within the Cloud & AI Platforms Global Customer Success team focused on Securing the Modernization and Migration of customer workloads on Azure Customer-Centric Approach - Deliver Customer success on the Microsoft Cloud & AI Platforms with a special focus on helping customer migrate and modernize their workloads on Azure. - Accountable for delivering innovative solutions to meet customer outcomes aligned to their TCO and ROI. - Provide guidance and recommendations to customer to build resilient and secure solution architecture for their workloads on Azure. Business Impact - End-to-end ownership of Cloud Accelerate Factory (aka Factory) engagements to help customers jumpstart their Azure projects with no-cost deployment assistance. - Provide Factory delivery oversight which includes being hands-on with delivery based on business requirements. - Orchestrate effective execution of Partner + Factory delivery to scale reach and impact across all customer segments. - Provide proactive management of Factory delivery risks through early identification of issues and mitigation. - Unblock and Accelerate Factory delivery in the assigned territory of coverage. Technical Leadership - Maintain deep technical hands-on delivery skills for the assigned technical workloads, i.e., SQL Iaas, Azure SQL Paas (SQL DB and MI), Azure PostgreSQL, Azure MySQL and CosmosDB. And tools like Azure Migrate and DMS. - Demonstrate technical depth in delivery by employing best practices and repeated IP to accelerate Factory delivery execution. - Extract learning, actionable insights from Factory delivery execution by closing the loop with Technical Pillars colleagues to improve IP, offerings and process flows. Qualifications Required Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technology Management. - 5+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications consulting OR equivalent experience. - Passion for technology and customer obsession. - Displays strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers. - Enthusiasm towards leading technologies and motivation to learn and grow. - Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills in Japanese as well as English.
