How You’ll Make an Impact: As a Network Engineer, you’ll support the design, deployment, and operations of Epsilon’s global network infrastructure across datacenters and cloud platforms. Working as part of a skilled team of network professionals, you’ll help ensure the performance, reliability, and security of internal and external network services. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to complex, large-scale environments while developing your expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls, and automation. Responsibilities What You’ll Achieve Support the implementation and optimization of network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. Contribute to the deployment of scalable network solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, AWS, GCP, and Azure. Assist in maintaining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Puppet. Participate in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for network automation and provisioning. Use scripting and automation tools to streamline configuration and management tasks. Work with security and SRE teams to ensure compliance and secure network design. Troubleshoot network issues across LAN, WAN, cloud, and internet environments, escalating as necessary. Monitor network performance and support implementation of high-availability and failover solutions. Help evaluate and test emerging technologies, contributing to best practice adoption. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on project deliverables and documentation. Contribute to standardization, documentation, and operational excellence initiatives. Additional duties as assigned. Qualification Description Who You Are: What you’ll bring with you: 5–8 years of experience supporting production network environments. Working knowledge of WAN routing, datacenter switching, firewalls, and load balancing. Experience supporting hybrid cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with Python and network automation frameworks. Experience using infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Understanding of core network protocols: OSPF, BGP, STP, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, IPv6, etc. Hands-on experience with platforms such as Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, Palo Alto, F5, and Arista. Knowledge of firewall and IPS technologies from Cisco and Palo Alto. Familiarity with monitoring and management tools like SolarWinds, ExtraHop, AlgoSec, and NetBrain. Experience with cloud networking components (VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers). Strong documentation and communication skills. Working knowledge of security standards (e.g., NIST, PCI, ISO). Ability to troubleshoot across the network and OS layers. Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation.
