We, TalHunt Konnect, an Executive Search Firm, are looking for a Correspondent / Sr. Correspondent for a leading publishing company that publishes digital news and opinionated content on activities in the Indian marketing, media and advertising industry company based in Mumbai. 1. Job Title: Correspondent / Senior Correspondent - Digital (Website) - Location: Mumbai (Open to remote candidates with strong experience) - Industry: Marketing, Media, Digital, Technology - Experience: 2-6 years preferred About the Role We are looking for a dynamic Correspondent / Senior Correspondent to join our digital editorial team. The ideal candidate should have strong reporting, writing, and news judgment within the domains of marketing, digital media, advertising, or technology. This role involves daily newsroom responsibilities, content creation, and coverage of industry developments. Key Responsibilities - Research and publish timely news articles, interviews, and industry updates. - Cover the advertising, marketing, digital, media, and technology ecosystem. - Build and maintain industry relationships for stories, quotes, and insights. - Write crisp, accurate, and engaging digital content. - Attend press conferences, industry events, and webinars as required. - Coordinate with editors to ensure high-quality, on-deadline content. - Monitor industry trends for exclusive stories and insights. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Political Science, or a related field is preferred - Previous experience in media, public relations, or correspondence is a plus - Strong editorial, reporting, and news writing skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment. - Excellent command of English-both written and verbal. - Ability to break stories and build industry connects. - Self-driven, curious, and capable of independent research. 2. Job Title: Correspondent / Senior Correspondent - Magazine Location: Mumbai CTC: Up to - 9 LPA Experience: 3-7 years preferred About the Role We are seeking a Correspondent / Senior Correspondent for our business magazine editorial team. The role involves writing long-form features, conducting CXO-level interviews, and producing deep-dive stories around brands, marketing, and the media ecosystem. Key Responsibilities - Develop feature-length articles, brand stories, and leadership interviews. - Conduct in-depth research, data gathering, and narrative structuring. - Cover the advertising, marketing, media, and business communications sectors. - Build a strong network of industry leaders for exclusive stories. - Generate story ideas aligned with the publication's editorial vision. - Ensure accuracy, storytelling quality, and editorial finesse. - Collaborate with design and digital teams for packaging long-form features. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Political Science, or a related field is preferred - Previous experience in media, public relations, or correspondence is a plus - Experience in business journalism, brand storytelling, long-form writing, or editorial features. - Strong narrative writing, research, and analytical skills. - Ability to craft compelling and insightful content. - Proficiency in English and a deep understanding of the marketing/media ecosystem.
