Finance you will join the IDT Engineering team delivering business value by providing top-tier technical functional and consulting expertise In this role you ll contribute to IT projects programs and products across Shell s value chain with a strong focus on S 4 PaPM You ll have opportunities for personal growth through learning and certifications and you ll be part of a community that nurtures technical talent and business knowledge Your responsibilities will include identifying and documenting business needs for clients and stakeholders ensuring the right skills are delivered at the right time and place What you ll be doing Deliver SAP Profitability and Performance Management SAP PaPM solutions by translating business and process requirements into technical specifications Perform system configurations while ensuring adherence to build standards and best practices Collaborate with Process Architects and Design Authorities to develop IT solutions aligned with business needs Work closely with Lead Business Analysts and Process Experts to design complex solution specifications Conduct unit testing and support integration testing for applicable solutions Undertake problem analysis to identify root causes of incidents escalating findings within the Line and Business to minimize such incidents re-occurring Drive resolution of defects during test cycles and hyper care as well as for critical incidents Define and safeguard IT solutions to ensure they are robust scalable and supportable with proper documentation prepared for CAB meetings Recommend functional improvements to existing solutions Maintain a detailed functional understanding of the application module and its role in supporting business processes Ensure that all changes are properly and extensively documented Fully comply with all Group IT standards and processes What you bring 9-12 years of overall functional experience At least 8 years of hands-on experience in ECC and S 4HANA Controlling module configuration with a solid understanding of related business processes 1-2 end-to-end implementations in SAP Profitability and Performance Management SAP PaPM Strong expertise in S 4HANA Controlling including CCA PCA Product Costing Profitability Analysis and Material Ledger Solid domain knowledge in Accounting and Cost Accounting Experience in defining data models in PaPM integrating with SAP and non-SAP systems and designing business rules using standard PaPM capabilities Understanding of cost and revenue allocation process design and implementation Functional knowledge and experience in financial allocation processes Strong grasp of integration points between CO and other modules such as FI SD PP and MM Familiarity with Direct Tax is a plus Experience with SAP BW SAP HANA or SAP BPC is an advantage Knowledge of S 4HANA integration with other modules is beneficial Well-versed in S 4HANA system implementation methodologies Commitment to meeting customer requirements and expectations with a proactive approach to problem-solving Strong analytical and communication skills in English both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively What we offer You bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented committed people on one of the most important challenges facing our planet You ll have the opportunity to develop the skills you need to grow in an environment where we value honesty integrity and respect for one another You ll be able to balance your priorities as you become the best version of yourself Progress as a person as we work on the energy transition together Continuously grow the transferable skills you need to get ahead Work at the forefront of technology trends and practices Collaborate with experienced colleagues with unique expertise Achieve your balance in a value-led culture that encourages you to be the best version of yourself Benefit from flexible working hours and the possibility of remote mobile working Perform at your best with a competitive starting salary and annual performance related salary increase -
