Your Role - Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Microfocus Enterprise Developer and Visual COBOL. - Perform mainframe modernization and migration to Microfocus and cloud environments (e.g., Azure or AWS). - Configure and manage Microfocus Enterprise Server/Test Server on virtual machines. - Develop and optimize COBOL programs, JCL scripts, and batch processes. - Engineer integrations between legacy systems and cloud-based solutions. - Conduct impact analysis, code refactoring, and performance tuning. - Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment. Your Profile - 7+ years of experience in software development and mainframe modernization. - Strong expertise in Microfocus Enterprise Developer, Visual COBOL, and Microfocus Enterprise Server. - Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and ISAM. - Experience with Azure/AWS, containerization, and cloud integration. - Solid understanding of MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS; DB2 experience is a plus. - Familiarity with Windows Server environments and Visual Studio. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
