Overview:

We are looking for a creative and research-oriented Content Writer to join our team of dynamic professionals. As a Junior Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise and engaging content for various D2C clients. You will work closely with our senior content writers, account managers and SEO experts to create compelling content that aligns with the given brand guidelines and quality expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Write clear, compelling and error-free content for blogs, articles, footer content, Meta tags, product descriptions, Quora answers, etc.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and come up with fresh and relevant industry-specific topics.
- Proofread blog and other content types as per the brand guidelines and quality standards before submitting for approval
- Optimise content for Google using keywords, meta tags, and other SEO elements to improve readability and visibility.
- Ensure the consistency in terms of style, fonts, and tone
- Collaborate with account managers and SEO experts to create content that supports the overall business goals
- Take responsibilities individually and as a team member in a fast-paced work environment

Skills Required:

- English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field from a recognized university
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Clear and effective interpersonal skills for communication with different departments.
- Ability to conduct in-depth research to generate creative ideas
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs.
- Good interpersonal and time-management skills
- 6+ months of experience
