Application Development Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Laravel PHP framework. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services. Ensure proper implementation of authentication, authorization, and session management. 2. Database Management Design and manage relational databases using MySQL or similar RDBMS. Optimize database queries for better performance and scalability. Create and manage database migrations, seeders, and relationships in Laravel. Ensure data security, consistency, and backup strategies. 3. Front-End Integration Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular. Ensure responsive and user-friendly UI/UX. Optimize the application for cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. 4. API and Third-Party Integrations Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for various services like payment gateways, social logins, and SMS/email notifications. Work with third-party SDKs, libraries, and tools to enhance application functionalities. 5. Performance Optimization Conduct code reviews to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements. Implement caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) to improve response times. Optimize Laravel applications for speed, scalability, and security. 6. Testing and Debugging Perform unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using PHPUnit or similar tools. Debug application issues and resolve bugs quickly and efficiently. Ensure that all modules and features are thoroughly tested before deployment. 7. Security and Compliance Implement data protection measures, including input validation, SQL injection prevention, CSRF protection, and XSS prevention. Keep Laravel applications updated with the latest security patches and bug fixes. Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory frameworks, where applicable. 8. Collaboration and Project Management Work closely with project managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups. Document technical processes, workflows, and system architecture for reference. Required Skills and Competencies 1. Technical Skills Core Expertise: Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8 and Laravel framework. Hands-on experience with MVC architecture and Laravel’s built-in features. Database Skills: Expertise in MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL. Ability to write optimized queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
