Dev Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Development Project Manager to join our software development team at Infor EPM. This pivotal role involves coordinating and managing a diverse range of operational and cross-team tasks within our software development organization. The ideal candidate will possess basic skills across IT and software development, facilitating the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion. Your role will put you at the center of our software development and release processes, where you will be exposed to a wide variety of exciting concepts and duties necessary for producing sophisticated software products. We are looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented and highly structured but also proactive, motivated, and eager to contribute to our long-term success.

Essential Duties

- Coordinate and manage multiple topics across a broad spectrum of tasks and duties within the software development lifecycle, both independently and as part of a team.
- Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of project goals.
- Lead meetings, take professional notes, and diligently follow up on tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Manage and track compliance activities related to corporate requirements such as NIS2, FedRAMP, and GDPR, as well as cloud maturity scorecards and data privacy documentation.
- Oversee the planning and deployment of training videos, working with team members to deliver content.
- Take ownership of release management topics and lead product audits focused on compliance.
- Organize and maintain the teams SharePoint folder structures and Wiki pages.
- Break down complex tasks into manageable pieces, ensuring full transparency and traceability of projects.
- Evaluate and explore new processes or requirements independently, presenting findings and questions to the team proactively.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence Wiki for project management and collaboration.
- Explore and implement AI-based tools to enhance process efficiency and automation.
- Communicate effectively in fluent English and engage proactively with team members and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical and project coordination roles within the software development industry.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating tasks in a software development environment, preferably with an international organization.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence Wiki, and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with a fluency in English and the ability to interact comfortably with development colleagues.
- Understanding of cloud software, corporate processes, and general IT principles.
- Ability to grasp high-level goals from management and convert them into actionable tasks.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with agile development methodologies and a solid understanding of project management principles.
- Ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations and lead discussions in large meetings.
- Strong self-learning motivation and a proactive attitude towards learning and personal development.
- Familiarity with Amazon EC2 and web security standards.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
