DESCRIPTIONAre you interested in being part of Amazon s initiative to give the best in class delivery experience to our customers by working with our logistics partner across the geographies and take your skills and career to the next level Join the Last Mile Analytics and Quality LMAQ team which will work to establish world class audits of our delivery partners provide them timely feedback and be a part of Amazon s global last mile delivery network We are seeking a passionate experienced operations manager to at our Hyderabad site If you are excited about driving process improvement and motivating a team of driven customer-obsessed associates all while analyzing systemic issues and implementing solutions to challenging problems we have the career you re looking for Key job responsibilities S he will be primarily responsible for -Devise operational goals and align with business goals for the function that focuses -on end-customer impact productivity accuracy and speed to market -Establishes measurement reporting and process excellence indicators for effective accomplishment of goals in core processes Manages metric performance -Sets appropriate operational and people goals for the team at all levels and holds them accountable -Owns processes staffing metrics and business updates for the function -Manages problems decisions and escalations -Proactively identifies tool and system requirements that reduce operational defects Ensures impact- and benefit-driven prioritization of process excellence projects Works with inter-functional teams to streamline processes Identifies and drives process excellence along with Program and Tech teams A day in the life The ideal candidate will be organized detail-oriented and clearly communicate progress S he contributes to data quality improvement projects by proposing enhancements to tools and working on continuous improvement of process that address key team pain-points to set them up for success The person is a self-starter set vision and manages teams and sets clear goals for team performance management The person has track record of driving process excellence Knowledge or experience in Six sigma LEAN DMAIC Kaizen and or statistical process control projects is a bonus About the team Are you interested in being part of a brand new Amazon initiative to redefine the way customer delivery takes place and to delight our customers and take your skills and career to the next level Join the Last Mile Analytics and Quality LMAQ team where we obsess over Customer and Driver experience and maintain a high bar for Amazon s global last mile delivery network BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor s degree engineering science math technology - 5 years experience in Operations Management - Strong communication verbal written and collaboration skills - A strong hands-on results driven mentality xc2 xb7 Experience in driving KPIs for the team and setting benchmarks - Perform ad hoc reporting data-procurement data-analysis and impact gauging as needed - Proficiency with Excel and strong analytical acumenPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA Specialization in Operations Experience with Lean Six Sigma DMAIC and usage of analytical techniques is a plus - A positive attitude great team work and people management skills
