Every day Global Payments makes it possible for millions of people to move money between buyers and sellers using our payments solutions for credit debit prepaid and merchant services Our worldwide team helps over 3 million companies more than 1 300 financial institutions and over 600 million cardholders grow with confidence and achieve amazing results We are driven by our passion for success and we are proud to deliver best-in-class payment technology and software solutions Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow Position Title Software Engineer Consultant Location Pune Summary of This Role Works throughout the software development life cycle and performs in a utility capacity to create design code debug maintain test implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures Analyzes existing applications or formulate logic for new applications procedures flowcharting coding and debugging programs Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code Recommend changes in development maintenance and system standards Creates appropriate deliverables and develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in a flexible development environment This role will focus on the technical processes related to software development and will assist in maintaining the high quality of new software systems This role will focus on ensuring the software project security and work to keep new technology by utilization of new tools and trends What Part Will You Play Demonstrates subject matter expertise SME to develop complex code using both front and or back end programming languages within multiple platforms as needed in collaboration with business and technology teams for internal and external client software solutions Designs creates delivers and advises others on complex program specifications for code development and support on multiple projects issues with a wide understanding of the application database to better align interactions and technologies Provides SME analysis modification and development of complex code unit testing in order to develop concise application documentation Evaluates develops and implements testing validation requirements and corrective measures for highly complex code deficiencies and provides systemic proposals Participates in client facing meetings joint venture discussions vendor partnership teams to determine solution approaches Provides SME recommendations to leadership on the design development and enforcement of business infrastructure application standards to include associated controls procedures and monitoring to ensure compliance and accuracy of data Applies a full and comprehensive understanding and in-depth knowledge of procedures methodology and application standards to include Payment Card Industry PCI security compliance Provides SME advice for estimates on highly complex initiatives projects and issues Performs on-the-job training and provides SME guidance to software engineers Leading the product development teams on technical front Design implement and maintain high performance software solutions Build APIs that simplify integration for external developers Build intuitive UIs that enhance the user s experience Analyze and solve performance problems Improving application reliability and responsiveness Communicate ideas issues status and outcomes with the team and managers Professionally argue points and ensure the right solutions Create technical documentation Create and maintain the documentation for best practices across teams Assist in promoting a positive team culture What Are We Looking For in This Role Experience as an architect or leading and inspiring software development teams High level proficiency in the Microsoft net stack Expertise in C Net MVC SOA Microsoft SQL Server Entity Framework JavaScript Git Angular or React or Vue JS MVC ASP Net Web API Net Core Understanding of design patterns principles threading real-time processing and SQL Server DB queries and performance tuning Strong inclination towards technology and passion for both current and emerging technologies Experience to lead practice and introduce technical vision for different teams Good understanding and ability to provide modernization alternatives to legacy technology and solutions in the existing projects and the legacy codebase Experience working directly with different IT groups in an advisory role Excellent written and verbal communications skills Desire and skill in coaching more junior engineers Passion for doing what is right for the team our company and our customers Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field like Computer Science Information Technology Business Management Information Systems or related field Typically minimum of 10 years - Professional Experience In Coding Designing Developing and Analyzing Data Typically has a broad and comprehensive advanced knowledge of multiple opposing front back-end languages technologies from the following but not limited to two or more modern programming languages used in the enterprise experience working with various APIs external Services experience with both relational and NoSQL Databases What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities Skills Knowledge - Having broad expertise or unique knowledge uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways Barriers to entry such as technical committee review may exist at this level Job Complexity -
