Job Description You will join our Bridges & Civilsdepartment. As our new Principal Engineer Electrical, you will be part of a world-class, innovation-driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and is based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization. We expect you to have 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and that you have strong knowledge of designing software such as some of the following software; AutoCAD, REVIT, Microstation, Dialux, SEE-Electrical, FEBDOK and that you have strong communication skills, so that communication with other relevant engineers and project managers will be handled smoothly. The role will primarily involve delivering scheduled tasks in form of design calculations reports and drawings. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: - Design of Low Voltage Switchboards and LV sub-mains cabling. - Design of Power distribution to mechanical equipment. - Design of Emergency power systems (Diesel Generator, battery systems and UPS). - Design of Earthing and bonding installations and lightning protection - Design of Lighting, Lighting control, and Emergency lighting, both indoor and outdoor (Road/tunnel). - Design of Safety installations and Security installations - Design of ducting in buildings and terrain. Experience: - Minimum 10+ years of experience in design of, electrical and lighting calculations for infrastructure projects, such as road/rail, tunnels, bridges and metros. - Strong knowledge of international and national design codes and standards - Experience managing full project cycles, with strong knowledge of different design stages including concept, preliminary, tender, and detailed design, along with preparation of related technical documentation such as design reports and related 2D and 3D drawings. - Experienced in performing technical reviews of design documents, equipment specifications, and compliance checks with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. - Experienced in interdisciplinary coordination with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP-systems. - Strong communication and stakeholder management experience with clients, contractors, and authorities - Ability to provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and BIM-specialists. - Proven experience in leading small engineering/project teams Qualifications - Master/Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. - Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, system design and calculations. - Strong proficiency in calculation software such as, Dialux, FEBDOK, SEE-Electrical etc. - Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for 2D and 3D modelling and coordination. - Proven track record on large-scale international infrastructure projects such as road/rail, tunnel, bridges, metros and aviation. - Excellent technical reporting, communication and stakeholder coordination skills. - Excellent proficiency in collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, SharePoint etc. - Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal Additional Information Ready to join us Please submit your application.
