Job Title Production Assistant Manager - Galvanizing Location Sikandrabad Uttar Pradesh Department Production Operations - Galvanizing Division Reports To Production Manager Plant Head Job Purpose To assist in managing and optimizing the galvanizing production line to achieve quality productivity safety and cost targets while ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications ISO 9001 IATF16949 AS9100D ISO14001 ISO45001 Key Responsibilities Production Management Supervise day-to-day operations of the galvanizing process line for pipes tubes and structural products Ensure production targets MT day are met as per the schedule Coordinate with planning and dispatch teams to meet delivery commitments Quality Assurance Monitor coating thickness zinc adhesion and surface finish to meet product specifications Implement corrective actions for quality deviations in coordination with QA QC teams Maintain records for traceability and audits Process Equipment Optimization Monitor bath temperature flux quality and zinc consumption for optimal efficiency Assist in preventive maintenance planning and breakdown management with the maintenance team Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and wastage Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to EHS Environment Health Safety guidelines Train operators and workers in safe galvanizing practices Ensure compliance with statutory and ISO standards People Management Lead and guide shift supervisors and shop-floor operators Conduct on-the-job training to upgrade workforce skills Maintain discipline and resolve operational conflicts Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of hot-dip galvanizing process and surface treatment techniques Understanding of production planning cost control and lean manufacturing principles Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets Proficient in MS Office ERP SAP production modules Leadership decision-making and problem-solving skills Qualifications Experience Education Diploma B Tech in Mechanical Metallurgy Production Engineering Experience 5-8 years in steel tube pipe manufacturing with at least 3 years in galvanizing operations Preferred Experience in large-scale ISO-certified manufacturing setups Key Performance Indicators KPIs Production volume vs target Rejection rate quality compliance Zinc consumption efficiency Downtime hours equipment and process-related Safety incidents How to Apply Send your updated resume to resume theactivegroup in For Immediate Inquiries Contact 63588 12301 99045 82301 Job Type Full-time Pay 80 000 00 - 120 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
