About The Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail or ecommerce domains, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in understanding client needs, conducting gap analysis, and supporting the development and deployment of digital solutions. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends to drive impactful outcomes. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Retail or Ecommerce domain - Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and retail operations - Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, and SQL - Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills - Proven ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments - Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting Responsibilities - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements related to ecommerce platforms, retail operations, and customer engagement strategies. - Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories to guide development teams effectively. - Conduct thorough gap analysis, process mapping, and feasibility studies to support innovative solution design and implementation. - Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure the seamless delivery of features and enhancements aligned with business goals. - Support product backlog grooming, facilitate sprint planning, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure quality and timely delivery. - Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies within the ecommerce and retail sectors to recommend innovative solutions.
