Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and drivenEntrepreneur in Residence (EiR)to join our team immediately. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial professional to work closely with our leadership team to conceptualize, build, and scale new ventures from the ground up. The EiR will act as a founder-in-trainingresearching market opportunities, validating business models, and leading product or venture launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, identify, and evaluate high-potential business opportunities aligned with Giakaa Capitals focus areas.
- Develop business plans, go-to-market strategies, and financial models for new ventures.
- Drive end-to-end execution of pilot projects, from ideation to launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, technology, and investment.
- Build partnerships, secure resources, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies to spot market gaps.
- Represent Giakaa Capital in industry events, pitch competitions, and networking forums.

Requirements

- Proven entrepreneurial experienceeither as a founder, co-founder, or in a leadership role within a startup.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and execute on opportunities.
- Experience in sectors like Web3, AI, FinTech, ClimateTech, or related emerging technologies is preferred.
- Excellent research, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and remote-first environment.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, or related fields (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
