Job Description Job Responsibilities: DB developer with minimum 8 years of experience and strong and good hands on knowledge on Java, Spring and JDBC Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) *: - Java - Spring - JDBC Nice to have skills (Top 2 only): Agile, Azure Dev Ops Detailed Job Description: - Bachelors degree in computer engineering/science. - 8+ years of experience in Java Springboot development - 8+ years of Application Development in Java/J2EE - Servlets/JSP/JSF/EJB3/Java Persistence - 5+ years of Web Services / API Development of RESTful (json) services - 5+ years experience working within a Linux/Unix environment - 3+ years experience with RDMS; PostgreSQL preferred. - Familiarity with Unit, Regression & e2e Testing principles & practices. - 5+ years experience working with distributed source control using e.g. Git, and common branching and merging strategies. - Working Knowledge of tools like Azure Dev Ops, Jira etc. preferred. - Working Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES - Experience of Spring or similar frameworks - Familiarity with containerization methodologies i.e. Docker - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins / Azure
