Job Purpose

The role will be responsible for driving effective operations of Packet Core network handling data services & base network for IMS services as well as IOT / M2M /Enterprise Mobility Services with strong governance, monitoring of the defined KPI/SLAs and to fulfill the key demands as per the business requirements.

To Collaborate with SNOC, MS-Partners,, OEM's, Circle, Planning & various inter-functional teams, with the objective to ensure timely & systematic execution of tasks & resolution of escalated issues.

Network elements involved (As per deployment)

GGSN/GW, PCRF, DNS, CGNAT Collector, SGSN, MME, Gi/DNS Firewall, Vo-WiFi Core nodes (EPDG, AAA), Enterprise/M2M/IOT platforms including IP elements (Leaf/Spine/Switches/Routers) installed either in Baremetal or Cloud environment

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

- Driving OEM Care support & support SNOC/circle for case closure for outages & repetitive faults
- Analyze incidences, involve in design related re-engineering of solution in improving system availability
- Decision on maintenance upgrade and FNI ( First Node Implementation)
- Change request approval for Service affecting and Service threatening operational changes
- Operational processes review, adopt and implement process changes
- Providing support involving multiple stakeholders - NOC, OEM or Planning team for critical issues, activities and customer escalations & driving it towards conclusion
- Provide direction, guidance & support for CDR/IPDR related issues & meeting any compliance requirements
- Managed Services and OEM governance to support circles for ongoing/recurring issues
- Analyze spare requirement basis fault trends, and share to planning team for procurement
- AMC & Opex guidance to circles & process renewals in co-ordination with commercial team
- Arranging solution from Vendor on operational/revenue leakage related concerns raised by RA, CS teams and Circle teams
- Initiate competency building programs for operational teams basis requirements
- On-boarding SNOC and circle teams on changes in operational model basis organizational needs
- Drive circle and SNOC for roll-out of new changes/improvements/upgrades on Live nodes based on CODE and vendor recommendations
- Trigger planning team to resolve operational challenges related to product or solution

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

- Should have prior experience of working in Packet Core Operations domain and managing various portfolios. Experience on cloud infrastructure related technologies will be added advantage.
- Experience on implementing mass projects.
- Good Knowledge of Packet Core, Vo-WiFi Platforms along with call flow. Extensive knowledge of telecom and IP domain.
- Having sound knowledge of Enterprise/IOT/M2M domain to manage Enterprise related activities.
- Should have strong experience on working with strategic partners and managing MS/NOC teams.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

- BE/B. Tech in Electronics & Communication
- CCNA/CCNP & Cloud related certification would be added advantage
- Good stakeholder-management skills
- Effective communication and inter-personal skills
- Proactive in approach with positive attitude
