Recovery Management Lead and manage all recovery activities to minimize delinquency and achieve timely recoveries of overdue accounts in the commercial vehicle portfolio Devise and implement strategic recovery actions in line with regulatory guidelines and company policies Oversee negotiations settlements and restructuring of delinquent accounts as necessary Legal Proceedings and Litigation Handle cases under the SARFAESI Act Arbitration Act and other relevant laws for recovery Coordinate with external legal counsel to file suits handle litigation and manage other legal actions required for recovery Represent the company in court proceedings arbitration and other legal forums as needed Documentation and Compliance Ensure all documentation related to recovery legal notices and repossession is accurate and legally sound Maintain records of legal proceedings court orders judgments and other legal documents Conduct periodic audits of recovery-related legal documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams such as credit collections and operations to streamline recovery processes Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other external agencies for asset repossession and recovery activities Provide guidance to the collections team on legal matters and educate them on legal best practices Risk Assessment and Mitigation Identify potential legal risks in the recovery processes and develop risk mitigation strategies Proactively advise management on any legal risks associated with recovery actions and propose alternative approaches if necessary
