This role involves leading cloud migration initiatives, optimising data workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud-native solutions. The individual will provide technical leadership and mentorship while ensuring compliance with governance and security standards. What You Will Do - Design and implement GCP-based architectures that are secure, scalable, and resilient. - Analyse business and technical requirements to develop cloud-native solutions. - Lead cloud migration initiatives, including lift-and-shift, modernisation, and greenfield projects. - Collaborate with application development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-quality cloud-native applications. - Establish cloud governance models and ensure compliance with security and cost management policies. - Evaluate and recommend new cloud services, features, and technologies based on project needs. - Optimise data workflows for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability using tools like Terraform, Cloud Monitoring, and GCP-native services. - Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts and evaluation of emerging cloud technologies. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. - Assist project managers with technical timelines and resource allocation. Who You Are - 1823 years of overall experience, including 8+ years in cloud architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years on GCP. - Minimum 5+ years leading architecture practices across domains such as EDW, GCP, AWS. - Exhaustive knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Dataproc, IAM, Cloud Storage). - Strong understanding of networking, security, containers, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices. - Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in cloud environments. - Must hold a degree in Computer Science or related fields (B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc).
