Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled HPC Administrator to join our technical team in Bangalore. You'll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing HPC clusters to support demanding computational workloads across various domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain HPC clusters, storage, and networking components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Manage workload schedulers (e.g., SLURM, PBS, LSF)
- Implement and oversee backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and IT teams to optimize usage
- Automate system tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Maintain technical documentation and best practices
- Stay current with the latest in HPC technologies

Qualifications

- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience with Linux/Unix systems and HPC cluster administration
- Strong knowledge of workload managers (SLURM, PBS, LSF, etc.)
- Experience with networking and storage in HPC environments
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation
- Familiarity with system monitoring and security best practices
- Bonus: Experience with cloud-based HPC platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
