About Teamified Teamified works with top enterprises and digital native businesses in Australia helping them build their remote teams in India Philippines and Sri Lanka We pride ourselves with hiring great teams to work on exciting game changing technology Teamified currently has 200 engineers testers product managers etc working across 20 partners We focus on uplifting the way organisations build and manage their remote teams through great working relationships trust integrity culture and hiring processes Additional to this we are building our own technology product offerings We strive to deliver the best outcomes for our customers our partners and our people Job Summary The Financial Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining a customised data framework preparing reports and identifying trends and financial performance patterns This involves a monthly delivery cycle that includes Cleaning transforming and interpreting financial data and reports such as accounting statements and industry statistics Creating data visualisations to support informed business decisions and provide actionable insights Maintaining and updating internal datasets as required Responsibilities Data Cleaning and Transformation Review and clean monthly financial data using Microsoft Excel including Power Query identifying potential gaps or inconsistencies Transform cleaned data into a format that can be readily used for visualisations and analysis Dataset Updating Maintain and update internal datasets on industry metrics on a regular basis ensuring that information is accurate and up-to-date Develop new datasets as required by the business using a combination of Microsoft Excel Python and SQL Data Visualisations and Analysis Develop and maintain data visualisations and dashboards on Microsoft Excel and Tableau Perform quantitative analysis of financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement Report Preparation Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports including financial data insights and dashboards Assist in the preparation of business proposals and other reports using PowerPoint and Canva Trend Analysis Monitor and analyse key financial metrics and performance indicators Identify patterns and trends in financial data to provide actionable insights Collaboration Communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines Work closely with internal teams to support data-driven decision-making Data Integrity Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular validation and cleansing Develop and implement data management procedures and protocols Requirements Non-Negotiables Education Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics Data Science Engineering or a related field Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Experience 2-4 years as a financial analyst or in a similar role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Power Query and Python Strong proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerPoint and Canva Skills Understanding of financial statements Income Statement Cash Flow Statement Balance Sheet Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills Nice-to-Have Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL and Snowflake Knowledge of the ETL process and data management best practices Experience in industries like real estate accommodation or hospitality Experience in market research and analysis to support report writing and proposals Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams Benefits Flexibility in work hours and location with a focus on managing energy rather than time Access to online learning platforms and a budget for professional development A collaborative no-silos environment encouraging learning and growth across teams A dynamic social culture with team lunches social events and opportunities for creative input Health insurance Leave Benefits Provident Fund Gratuity If you possess the required skills and are eager to contribute to our team s success We encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity Apply now
