We seek a skilled and passionate DTP Operator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities: * Format and typeset manuscripts, books, journals, and other publications according to client specifications (Children's Books). * Ensure accuracy in layout, typography, and design consistency across projects. * Work with editors, designers, and project managers to meet quality and deadline requirements. * Adapt layouts for print and digital publishing formats (eBooks, PDFs, etc.). * Maintain knowledge of publishing standards, fonts, and typographic rules. * Layout pages according to client requirements and specifications within the specified time. * Making sure all marked corrections are correctly interpreted and diligently carried out, with no errors induced. * Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop will be an added advantage. Requirements: * Proven experience in typesetting, preferably in the publishing industry. * Proficiency in typesetting and publishing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign - Full Command, Adobe Illustrator) * Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar, spelling, and formatting accuracy. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of eBook formatting and accessibility standards is a plus.
