Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and visually appealing online stores. Key Responsibilities: -Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites. -Extending theme's functionality for custom cart, custom filters or similar requirements. -Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures. -Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand the key problem and implementthe solution with the right approach. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. -Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. -Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. -Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Required Skills: -Experience with any of the front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc. -Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async javascript. -Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI). -Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues. -Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. -Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Qualification: -3-5years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills. -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. -Experience with Shopify development is advantageous. -Strong knowledge of shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous -Portfolio of past projects demonstrating the required skills and experience. Nice-to-Have: -Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem. -Experience with API testing and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping apps). -Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores. Technical Skills: -Cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.) -Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana) -Responsive testing tools (Chrome DevTools, Responsinator, Browser DevTools) -Familiarity with Shopify themes, Liquid, Shopify Plus, and Shopify Admin is a plus Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
