Tool Room Engineer Adept in Tooling and Breakdown Fixing Job Description Responsibilities/: Troubleshooting and Repair/: Determine the underlying causes of wear, breakage, and premature failure on the factory floor or in the tool room, as well as diagnose, disassemble, and fix complicated tooling failures. Modification/: Based on quality feedback, process enhancements, or design revisions, make engineering adjustments, upgrades, and modifications to current tooling. Precision Measurement/: To confirm the dimensional accuracy of repaired or manufactured tool components, use sophisticated inspection tools such as CMM, optical comparators, height gauges, and micrometers. Heat Treatment/: Organize or carry out the necessary basic heat treatment procedures for tool steel components. Documentation/: Keep thorough and precise records in the CMMS or tool management system of all tool maintenance history, alterations, dimensional inspection reports, and spare part usage. Soft Skills/: exceptional analytical and methodical problem/-solving abilities. high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork abilities for interacting with design engineering and production teams.
