Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Job Description About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer. In this role, you will: - Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area - Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks - Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability - Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution - Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards - Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Required Qualifications: - 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: - Python , Prompt engineering , Machine learning - 4+ Years of experience in Production / Application support teams (including troubleshooting application issues / installations / deployments / configurations) - 2+ Years of experience in Windows or Linux Administration - Change/problem/incident management experience - For Windows environments - experience in IIS, SQL Server Administration, Windows administration, Windows PowerShell scripting - For Linux environments - experience in Unix Scripting - Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys - Experience with app or web servers such as Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS (and/or combination of these) - Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL (and/or combination of these) - DevOps tools/experience - Github, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible - Experience with SRE, Application, System and Database monitoring tools such as ITRS, AppDynamics, Splunk, Netcool, Elk and Basemon - SSL Certificate management experience - Knowledge of ticket tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira - Experience with Agile / Kanban methodologies Job Expectations: - Having Knowledge on monitoring tools like ITRS , AppDynamics, SPLUNK , Grafana , Service Now Autosys/Control-M , AiOps - (Mandatorily should have used it, Preferable if candidate has worked on its setup) Netcool uDeploy GitHub JIRA/Confluence - History of implementation of efficiencies, resiliencies, automations and transformations - He/She must have knowledge on AI tools like chatgpt , prompt engineering , Co-pilot - Ai , Machine Learning, Prompt engineering are required Posting End Date: 20 Oct 2025 We Value Equal Opportunity Wells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
