Job Description Role: Technical Business Analyst Minimum Experience: 7-10yrs Location : Offshore India - Bangalore Duration :3 Months Overview We are seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale transformation program focused on upgrading the core banking system across multiple countries. The role requires banking domain and systems experience and understanding of data quality by design and metadata management standards. The role requires the documentation of data quality control requirements in source systems, alignment with business stakeholders, and collaboration with technology teams to ensure robust data cataloguing and lineage. Key Responsibilities - Support the core banking upgrade transformation program across multiple countries. - Document data quality control requirements in source systems and align with business stakeholders for sign-off. - Possess domain knowledge in core banking areas such as Customer, KYC, Trade, Payments, Loans, and Deposits. - Collaborate with technology teams to communicate data quality requirements and validate test plans. - Ensure ETL pipelines are designed to facilitate metadata capture and data lineage tracking. - Understand and apply knowledge of Informatica EDC and Axon for data governance. - Apply strong mathematical and statistical skills to collect, measure, organize, and analyze data. - Demonstrate technical proficiency in database design, data modeling, data mining, and segmentation. - Utilize programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python. - Work with reporting tools like Business Objects and data visualization software like Qlik and Power BI. - Use data processing platforms such as Hadoop and Apache Spark. - Develop and document procedures and workflows for data quality and reporting. Perform data quality control, validation, and linkage. - Produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations. - Manage and design reporting environments including data sources, security, and metadata. - Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. - Demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork skills with high attention to detail. - Write queries, reports, and presentations effectively. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa. Pre-requisites - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - 710 years of work experience as a data analyst or in a related technical business analysis role. Experience in managing large-scale databases and handling large datasets. - Ability to assess potential risks and analyze existing tools and databases. - High-level experience in methodologies and processes for data management. - Understanding of metadata standards and data governance frameworks. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
