Job Description - Strong in S/4HANA ABAP (CDS, AMDP, OData), performance tuning, and WRICEF design. - Delivery lead experience in technical streams. - 8+ years ABAP experience with at least one S/4HANA implementation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Lead Developer to join our team.The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in modern ABAP development on S/4HANA, a proven track record in technical delivery leadership, and a strong commitment to performance optimization and quality. Key Responsibilities: - S/4HANA ABAP Development & Design:Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (WRICEF objects) within the SAP S/4HANA environment. - Expertly leverage S/4HANA-specific development techniques, including Core Data Services (CDS) views for data modeling and consumption, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) for performance-critical logic. - Design and implement OData services for seamless integration with Fiori applications and external systems, utilizing SAP Gateway technology. - Performance Tuning & Optimization:Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ABAP programs, CDS views, and AMDPs, utilizing advanced debugging and analysis tools. - Implement best practices for performance optimization within the S/4HANA landscape, ensuring efficient data processing and system responsiveness. - Technical Delivery Leadership:Lead and mentor technical teams, providing guidance on design principles, coding standards, and best practices for S/4HANA ABAP development. - Manage technical streams within projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and high-quality solutions. - Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. - Quality Assurance & Documentation:Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. - Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed objects and solutions. - Participate in testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and support for user acceptance testing.
