Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Test Lead with a strong background in the eCommerce domain to lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers. This role requires a leader who is passionate about quality, well-versed in QA best practices, and capable of driving excellence in testing across fast-paced digital projects. Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation) across multiple concurrent projects. - Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases based on business and technical requirements. - Ensure high test coverage and maintain standards for test case design and execution. - Drive the setup and optimization of test environments, test data, and automation frameworks. - Oversee the development and maintenance of automation scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and others. - Track and report key QA metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect density, test execution progress). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, DevOps, and project management to ensure quality deliverables. - Advocate for and implement best practices in QA processes, continuous testing, and quality governance. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline QA activities and improve product quality. - Communicate QA status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Required Skills & Qualifications - 810 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a QA leadership role. - Proven experience in eCommerce domain testing (web, mobile, APIs). - Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing methodologies and tools: - Automation: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Karate, etc. - API Testing: Postman, REST-assured, etc. - Solid understanding of test case design techniques, optimization strategies, and test data management. - Familiarity with QA metrics tracking and reporting tools. - Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests within DevOps workflows. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
