Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Build pixel-perfect, smooth, and performant UIs for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
- Diagnose, debug, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks ensuring native-like app performance.
- Maintain clean, modular, and well-tested code with automated test suites to ensure high product quality.
- Transition existing React web and native apps to React Native seamlessly.
- Leverage native APIs for deep platform integration and optimized user experience.
- Actively participate in solution design and architectural discussions as part of the Mobility Center of Excellence (CoE) team.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior and mid-level team members.
- Drive best practices in mobile development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development with a strong grasp of its core principles.
- Expertise with React hooks, navigation, AsyncStorage, and state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax and advanced concepts.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous request handling, and offline data storage strategies.
- Experience working with mobile databases like Firebase, SQLite, or similar.
- Skilled at managing and resolving third-party dependency conflicts and debugging complex issues.
- Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Detox.
- Proficient with version control systems like Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
- Experience deploying native apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Unit Testing practices and test automation.
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Prior team management experience, with ability to mentor and lead development teams effectively.
- Proven experience in mobile solutioning and architecture, guiding the overall technical direction.
