Summary data42 is Novartis ground-breaking initiative that harnesses the power of R D data in one of the largest and most diverse datasets in the pharmaceutical industry to reimagine medicine data42 applies machine learning artificial intelligence and sophisticated analytics to generate new insights that increase our understanding of disease and medicines improve R D decision-making and ultimately reimagine drug discovery and development And to take this a step further we are expanding data42 to create a first-of-its-kind diverse ecosystem We are seeking a highly skilled Data Expert to join our team The primary focus of this role will be ensuring data quality The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills enabling them to effectively convey complex data insights to various stakeholders Major accountabilities Ensure the overall quality of data within the Data42 project Develop and implement a strong data quality framework for Data42 Use artificial intelligence to compare data against established protocols and identify any quality issues Analyse and interpret clinical data to guarantee its accuracy and reliability Accountable for ensuring the quality of data within the data42 project Develop and implement data quality standards and processes Apply statistical methods to support data validation Approach problem-solving pragmatically to enhance data quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues Present data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences Work with these data types Clinical Data Real World Data Genomic data Pre-Clinical data Be curious motivated and driven to ensure highest levels of quality in data that is provided to our end-users Key performance indicators Delivery of data quality framework in a timely manner for the program Coordinate all data quality activities across the program Identify opportunities and improve overall data quality Job Dimensions Impact on the organization Responsible for the development and maintenance of data quality framework and delivering high levels of quality to support business needs and help to drive data driven insights Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor s Master s degree in Computer Science Statistics Applied Mathematics Engineering or any other technology related field equivalent of the same in working experience may also be accepted Work Experience Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role Strong communication and presentation skills Experience with AI or a strong interest in AI Experience understanding and working with Clinical Trial Data is a plus Proficiency in data management and analysis tools 4 years IT experience 2 years experience in Data Engineering on Big Data platform Strong Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience building scalable solutions and pipelines on big data platforms Hands-on experience on Palantir Foundry Platform preferrable Knowledge of AI ML concepts with hands-on experience will be valuable Skills Strong Communication Skills Understand Clinical Data structure CDISC Big Data Platforms Data Wrangling Analytical thinking Work with diverse global team across time zones Languages Fluent English Oral and Written Skills Desired Analytical thinking Understand clinical data structure e g CDISC knowledge of clinical trial data Strong communication skills Work with diverse global team across time zones Skills Desired Clinical Data Management Databases Data Governance Data Integrity Data Management Data Quality Data Science Waterfall Model
