Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Matron - Nursing Head to join our team at Medico Hub, specializing in healthcare staffing solutions. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Talegaon Dhamdhere, Pune, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The Nursing Head will provide leadership in patient care management and support the nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Qualifications and Skills

- Clinical leadership expertise with a proven ability to guide nursing teams and improve clinical outcomes (Mandatory skill).
- Proficient in patient care management, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to care standards (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in staff scheduling to optimize resource allocation and efficiency within the department.
- Capable of team supervision, including mentoring and supporting team members to promote professional development.
- Strong background in quality assurance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of infection control practices to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- Skilled in policy implementation, translating organizational objectives into actionable policies and procedures.
- Experience in performance appraisal, adept at evaluating staff performance and providing constructive feedback.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead the nursing team, setting goals and priorities to meet patient care objectives and organizational standards.
- Ensure effective patient care management, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective staff schedules to maintain adequate coverage and support patient needs.
- Supervise daily operations of the nursing department, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee quality assurance programs to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and improve care standards.
- Implement infection control policies and procedures, conducting regular reviews and updates as necessary.
- Manage the implementation of organizational policies, ensuring all staff are informed and trained accordingly.
- Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for the nursing staff.
